How to Draw Portuguese Flag / Portugal Flag Drawing / How to Draw the Flag of Portugal Step by Step

Materials you'll need:

1. Paper

2. Pencil

3. Ruler

4. Compass (optional for circle)

5. Rubber

6. Green, red, yellow, and blue colored sign pens or color pencils.

To draw the flag of Portugal, follow these steps:

1. The Portuguese flag ratio is 2:3. If the height is 20 cm, the width should be 30 cm.

2. Divide it into two vertical parts. Left part should fill 2/5 of the total width and the right part will be 3/5. Use ruler to measure and draw a vertical line. If the width is 30 cm, the line must be 12 cm from the left edge.

3. Color between Two Parts. The left part should be green and the right part should be red.

4. Draw a circle in the center of the line that divides the two parts. If the height is 20 cm, the diameter of the circle should be approximately 6.67 cm.

5. Inside the circle, draw the Portuguese shield as I show you. The shield has an "U" shape with a slightly rounded base as I've shown in my tutorial. The shield is divided into the upper part (ratchet): Draw five smaller shields (shields) arranged in a cross, each containing five besides (small spheres).

Color the shield. Shields must be blue and the shield border and castles must be yellow.
