The flag of Bahrain is the national flag of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The flag consists of two colors, white and red, separated by five triangles.

The red color found in the flags of some other Arab Gulf countries is said to refer to battles, while the white color represents peace as is customary. The five triangles represent the number of the five pillars of Islam.

The oldest flag created to represent Al Khalifa was only red in color. In the nineteenth century, the flag was divided into red and white, but without triangles. Then he separated the two colors with eight triangles, which is said to refer to the battles that took place between Bahrain and neighboring countries, or to distinguish it from other countries that had flags similar to it. On February 17, 2002, the number of triangles was changed to five, which represents the five pillars of Islam.

The flag of Libya, according to the Constitution of Independence in 1951 AD, consists of three colors: red, black, and green, with a white crescent and star in the middle. It's called the 'flag of independence'. It was used for the first time after the independence of Libya and the proclamation of the United Kingdom of Libya, and its design was developed by a Libyan legislative body in 1951 AD . Its use was canceled after the September 1969 coup or what was called the Al-Fateh Revolution, and on August 21, 2011 AD, this flag was raised over the official state institutions in the capital, Tripoli, after its liberation .

Ultimately, the honor of designing the world's tallest tower was awarded to the world's leading builder of high-rise structures, the Chicago office of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) with Adrian Smith FAIA, RIBA, consulting design partner. The selected design has undergone an extensive peer-review program to validate the integrity and effectiveness of the structural systems.

The architectural design is distinguished by the abstract triangular imprint of the Hymnocalis flower. The tower consists of three sections arranged around the central core, and the structure is formed in a Y-shape, with setbacks along each of its three wings providing stability to the structure, plus habitable floor plates creating twenty-six helical planes that reduce the cross-section of the tower. Gradually spiral and upward.

The central core merges into the apex of the tower and is crowned by a vertical pole. The Y-shaped design of the ground panels increases the area of the viewing platforms, which overlook the waters of the Arabian Gulf. The onion domes of Burj Khalifa are a reflection of Islamic architecture that can be admired from below or from the air.

Burj Khalifa has undergone more than 40 tests to examine the impact of winds on the tower and its residents. The tests ranged from basic Dubai wind climate tests, structural stress analysis on the façade, and climatic analysis of the impacts on the terraces and around the base of the tower.

The stacking effect or chimney effect is a phenomenon that affects very tall building designs and arises from changes in pressure and temperature. Therefore, special studies were conducted on the Burj Khalifa to determine the size of the changes that should be taken into account in the design of the building.

Horizontal chart
Armani Hotel Dubai occupies the Concourse Level, Level 8 and Levels 38 and 39. Levels 9 to 16 are occupied exclusively by the Deluxe and Two-Bedroom Suites.

Residents enjoy other facilities such as the library and Lafayette Gourmet, a place where residents hold their meetings and secure their needs. Valet parking is also available for guests and visitors.

Interior designs
The Chicago office of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP, led by award-winning designer Nada Andrick, designed the Burj Khalifa's public areas. Interiors feature glass, stainless steel, and dark, polished stone, as well as silver travertine floors, Venetian plaster walls, handmade rugs, and stone floors. The tower's position as a global icon has played an important role in the interiors, which are inspired by local culture.

Artistical works
Burj Khalifa and Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard are decorated with more than 1,000 pieces of art from prominent artists from the Middle East and the world. Many of these pieces of art were curated by Emaar with the aim of showing the harmony of the universal spirit. Burj Khalifa is one of the global symbols of cooperation, and therefore the art pieces were chosen with the aim of spreading the meanings of communication between cultures and societies.

Major construction events
The exterior cladding of Burj Khalifa began in May 2007 and was completed in September 2009. The massive project involved more than 380 skilled engineers and technicians on site. In the first phase of installation, the team progressed at a rate of about 20 to 30 panels per day, eventually achieving up to 175 panels per day.

In November 2007, the highest amount of base walls in reinforced concrete was pumped using 80 MPa of cement starting from the bottom level with a vertical height of 601 meters, breaking the previous pumping record for the Taipei 101 building, the second tallest tower in the world, which was 470 meters. The previous world record for vertical pumping was 532 meters for the Riva del Garda hydroelectric power station extension in 1994. The cement pressure during pumping at this level was approximately 200 bar.

HELP TURKEY AND SYRIA FOR RECENT EARTHQUAKES:
https://www.savethechildren.org/us/wh...

The recent earthquake in Turkey and Syria broke my heart. When Turkey is mentioned, its glorious red flag with a crescent and star comes to mind, with many stories telling the story that made this flag an icon and a symbol of a country whose roots extend deep into history, and not just a piece of cloth.

In 1383 AD, the first flag of the Turks appeared, which is the first period in the Ottoman Empire, which was a period of jihad and struggle for the establishment of the state.

For the Turks, the red color symbolizes the blood of the martyrs that was shed in the first Kosovo war in 1362-1389 AD, so the status of the red color did not decline in all the flags that passed through the Ottoman Empire.

As for the crescent and the star, in addition to their Islamic symbolism, they are associated with the Turks with a famous legend about the reflection of the moon and stars on the blood of the martyrs, which was like a lake in the Kosovo war.

The flag used at that time was red in color, and triangular in shape, and in 1453 AD the Ottomans conquered Constantinople under the leadership of Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror, and victories and glories began to follow in the Ottoman Empire.

The flag at that time did not differ much from the original flag, with the exception of the golden crescent, which was added to the red flag, because the crescent is a symbol for Muslims.

In 1517 A.D., Egypt was annexed to the Ottoman Empire, after the annexation of Syria, Palestine, the region of the Levant, and the Hijaz. Hence, the concept of science differed for the Turks, so the Sultan was no longer the ruler of the Ottoman Empire only, but rather became the caliph of all Muslims, which necessitated changing the flag to suit the Islamic caliphate.

In this period, the red color was allocated to symbolize political institutions, while the green color symbolized religious institutions.

In 1844 AD, during the reign of the Ottoman Sultan Abd al-Majid I, the state witnessed the first unified flag. The flag was red in color with a crescent and a star on it, after the Ottoman state became intellectually unified.

This flag flew over all parts of the Ottoman Empire, which included the erasure of fifty countries, including eighteen Arab countries.

After the Ottoman Empire, and during the era of the modern Turkish Republic, the Turkish flag law was enacted in 1936 AD, and Turkey became a unified flag, as the law stipulated the replacement of the eight-pointed star with the five-pointed star that currently exists.

Reverence for the Turkish flag is clearly represented in the beginning of the Turkish national anthem, “Fear not, that red flag that proudly flutters in this wonderful dawn will not be extinguished.”

The Turkish people believe that the Turkish flag is formed from the blood of the Turks that were spilled in the War of Independence and the Çanakkale War, and whoever assaults or insults it is as if he attacked the Turkish people. Turks also wear crescent and star insignia, such as rings and accessories, to show their respect and loyalty to the flag.

Article 301 of the Turkish Penal Code stated that “Any person who publicly insults the Turkish nation, the state of the Republic of Turkey, the Grand National Assembly (parliament), the government of the Republic of Turkey, and the judicial organs of the state shall be punished with imprisonment from 6 months to 2 years.”

The article also states that “if the insult is committed by a Turkish citizen in a foreign country, the penalty will be tripled.”

As for Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the flag bears a great sensitivity to him and he feels a responsibility to protect it. In international summits, protocol experts sometimes put small flags on the ground, to determine where the leaders of the countries that are present at a summit stand to take group photos of them that are used for journalistic purposes, and in On several occasions, television clips showed Erdogan picking up the Turkish flag from the ground and putting it in his pocket, unlike the rest of the leaders present who took their places.

Cambodia has gone through countless eras from pre-Angkorian times to the present day. In particular, in recent decades, Cambodia has undergone frequent regime changes, including monarchy, foreign colonization, and slippage, as long as the country can return. Come to a constitutional monarchy like today. Along with the change of leadership of the country many times, we also see the change of the flag, the flag representing this nation changes frequently. The following are the forms of flags that Cambodia has used in each period from the time of Preah Ang Duong to the present:

First flag: The flag representing Cambodia was first used during the reign of King Ang Duong from 1840 to 1863.

Second Flag: The first official flag of Cambodia, which has a similar shape to the current flag and the first two designs. Instead of the image of Angkor Wat, this flag was used from 1863 to 1947.

Third flag: A flag that was used briefly from March to September 1945 to represent Cambodia in the Japanese-backed government of Son Ngoc Thanh during World War II.

The Moroccan flag, which is dominated by the red color except for a five-pointed green star, has completed a hundred years of its life, since its creation by royal decree by Sultan Moulay Youssef, on November 17, 1915.

And the Royal Decree issued in that year stated: “Our honorable consideration necessitated distinguishing our happy flag by placing the five-pointed Sulaymani ring in its middle in green, hoping from God Almighty to keep it flying with the winds of happiness and turnout in the present and the future, Amen and peace.”

The reasons for this distinction, according to the Dahir, are: “In view of the advancement of the affairs of our honorable kingdom and the spread of the brigades of its glory and pride, and when the circumstances required it to be designated with a flag that distinguished it from other kingdoms, and where the banner of our holy ancestors was similar to some flags, especially those used in marine signals.”

It may be understood from the Dahir that there was no component in the Moroccan flag other than the red color and that due to the confusion that occurred between it and the flags of other countries that dominated this color, Morocco chose to place the five-pointed Sulaimani ring in the center of its flag in clear green color, however, there are other opinions that indicated That the Moroccan flag before 1917 did not consist of a single element and that a six-pointed star was in the middle of it, and there is a group of pictures of a red flag with a six-pointed star on the Internet, attributed by many sites to the previous Moroccan flag.

Also, although the Royal Dahir indicates that the decision to change the Moroccan flag is a decision of the Sultan, there are some opinions, including what was published before the term of the secular activist Ahmed Assid, indicating that the French Resident General, General Lyautey, was the one who placed the Moroccan flag, In addition to the Moroccan national anthem.

"The one who drew the current flag, who was in charge of the store affairs at that time, was Kaddour bin Ghabrit. It is true that General Lyautey signed the Dahir decision in the Official Gazette, but the conception and design of the flag belonged to Ibn Ghabrit and not someone else," says Hassan Aourid, the historian. The former ruler of the Kingdom of Morocco pointed out that Morocco before 1917 did not know the design of a national flag in the modern sense, but there were official flags for special occasions.

And Orid adds to CNN in Arabic: "The Moroccan flags before 1917 were not only red but had a six-pointed star in the middle of it. However, this star did not refer to the Jewish heritage and had absolutely nothing to do with Zionism. Rather, it was part of the geometric shapes that civilization was known for." Islamic civilization, which greatly influenced the Jewish heritage, and not the other way around.

On the connotations of the Moroccan flag, Orid said: "Ben Ghabrit was inspired by the red color from the word 'Maroc', which is a distortion of the word Marrakech, the red city. As for the green, it refers to the palm trees of Marrakesh, and the five ribs refer to the pillars of Islam."

Padma Bridge is being built with Bangladesh's own funding. It is spending 30 thousand 193 crores. However, Bangladesh Bridge Authority (BBA) is benefiting from this. Because the finance department is giving almost the entire construction cost as a loan to the bridge authority. The bridge department will return this amount in 35 years with one percent interest. As a result, BBA will have to pull the debt burden till 2057. And the toll rate of the bridge has also been considered high to repay this loan.

Meanwhile, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) provided a loan for the design of the Padma Bridge. BBA has to repay this loan in 30 years with two percent interest. The burden of this debt has to be pulled till the year 2037.

Recently, a meeting was held in the capital's Setu Bhavan to review the Padma Setu loan, interest rate, number of installments, etc. It was informed that according to the agreement, the loan installments of the Padma bridge were to be paid from the current financial year. However, the construction of Padma Bridge was delayed by a year due to Covid. Therefore, on the basis of mutual agreement, the deadline for the commencement of loan repayment of the finance department is also delayed by one year. The bridge will be inaugurated next June. And from the next (2022-23) financial year, the loan repayment of the bridge will be started. This loan has to be paid up to the financial year 2056-57.

According to information, the cost of the Padma Bridge project currently stands at Tk 30 thousand 193 crores 38 lahks. Out of this, 300 crore rupees have been donated. The remaining 29 thousand 893 crores 38 lakh taka has been given as a loan by the finance department. The bridge authority and finance department signed an agreement on August 29, 2019, to repay the loan.

According to the loan agreement, the finance department's loan will be repaid in 35 years from the next financial year. And the interest actually has to be paid about 36 thousand 403 crores. According to the loan repayment schedule, approximately 826 crores to a maximum of 1475 crores will be repaid every financial year. The loan will be repaid in a total of 140 installments over four years and 35 years quarterly. In this case, the interest is calculated on the loan balance after each installment. Apart from this, if the bridge authorities want, they can also pay the money in advance with interest. However, in case of failure to pay an installment due to any reason, it shall be paid along with the next installment in arrears.

The detailed design study report of the project proposed to double the toll rate of the Padma Bridge to the ferry charges. But in terms of reality, the toll rate of the bridge has been fixed at one and a half times of the current charge for various vehicles crossing the ferry at Mawa ferry ghat.

Meanwhile, an agreement was signed with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) on July 10, 2008, to design the Padma Bridge. Under this, the company gives a loan of 1 crore 11 lakh 79 thousand SDR (Special Drawing Rights) or about 100 crore rupees. The interest rate on this loan was six percent. The grace period of this 20-year loan was 5 years.

Later the design cost of the Padma Bridge increased. In view of this, on May 3, 2010, a separate loan agreement of another 62 lacks 74 thousand SDR or about 70 crore rupees was signed with ADB. The conditions of this loan were also the same. However, due to the increase in the exchange rate of SDR, the loan amount has increased.

As per the agreement, the first loan installment is due on June 30, 2028, and the second loan installment is on December 31, 2029. However, due to a lack of income, the finance department is repaying this loan. And the bridge authority will repay this loan in 30 years with 2 percent interest to the finance department. BBA will repay this loan to the finance department till the financial year 2036-37. When asked to know, a senior officer of the bridge authority present at the meeting told ShareBiz on condition of anonymity that the rate at which the toll will be collected on the Padma Bridge and the possible amount of traffic has been estimated. BBA will have to face a deficit every year to pay the loan installments. This deficit will remain for at least 20 years starting from the next financial year. Initially, the deficit will be high. At that time, the shortfall will have to be met from the toll income of the Bangabandhu

Historical background
The origin of the current Flag of Spain dates back to the reign of Carlos III (1759-1788). At that time, three types of flags coexisted in Spain: the royal standard, the military flag, and the Navy flag. Most countries used flags in which the color white predominated, which caused identification problems and confusion at sea among warships. To avoid this, Carlos III commissioned his Minister of the Navy, Antonio Valdés y Bazán, with a project to replace the naval flag.

Among the twelve sketches submitted to the contest, the King chose two, to which he varied the dimensions of the stripes, declaring the first for the Navy and the second for the Merchant Navy to be legal, by Royal Decree of May 28, 1785.

In the reign of Carlos IV (1788-1808), the General Ordinances of the Naval Navy of March 8, 1793, extend the use of the red flag to maritime plazas, castles, and coastal defenses and define it as the Royal Flag.

During the War of Independence (1808-1814) there was a phenomenon of the proliferation of non-regulatory flags. Some sailors went on to serve in land campaigns and, for the first time, bicolor banners are seen in the interior of Spain.

Subsequently, the Instruction on insignia, flags, honors, and salutes of the Navy, of March 13, 1867, returns to describe the flag of ships, arsenals, and maritime places in an explicit way.

During the reign of Alfonso XII (1874-1885), an Instruction was promulgated, dated December 10, 1878, on insignia, flags, honors, and maritime salutes, in whose first article the national flag is defined in the same terms as in the aforementioned Instruction of 1867.

In the Second Republic (1931-1939), during the Provisional Government, on April 27, 1931, a decree was promulgated that determined the adoption of the national tricolor flag made up of "three horizontal bands of equal width, the red being the upper one; yellow the central one and dark purple the lower one".

Shortly after the start of the Civil War (1936-1939), the flag was reestablished among the rebel troops. When the Uprising broke out (July 18, 1936), different flags proliferated among said troops. To avoid this, the president of the National Defense Board, General Cabanellas, signed a Decree on August 29, 1936, by which the traditional flag was recovered. In his unique article, he says: "The two-color flag, red and gold, is restored as the flag of Spain."

A few years later, during the dictatorship of General Francisco Franco (1939-1975), the Decree of October 11, 1945, approved the New Regulation of Insignia, Flags and Distinctives that regulates their use and form, and details the characteristics of the Flag. National in its three modalities, of units of the Armed Forces, warships, and buildings.

The shield
The current Shield of Spain summarizes a large part of the country's history. The elements that compose it have a long tradition of more than nine centuries.

Royal Decree 2964/1981, of December 18, by which the official model of the Coat of Arms of Spain is made public (BOE no. 221, of September 15)

Royal Decree 2267/1982, of September 3, by which the colors of the coat of arms of Spain are technically specified (BOE no. 221, of September 15)

Japanese Flag Drawing 🇯🇵 How to Draw Japan Flag 🇯🇵 How to Draw Japanese...

This is a short video on Japanese Flag Drawing  🇯🇵 How to Draw Japan Flag 🇯🇵 and How to Draw Japanese Flag 🇯🇵 日本の国旗

This is nothing but a technique. Just draw a circle. Fill it up with red colour. Finally, give your picture with a flag shape. Thanks for watching.

[The meaning and origin of the national flag]
In Japan, ever since Prince Shotoku entrusted envoys to the Sui dynasty, there has been a belief that the country is the "land of the rising sun," and the red Hinomaru symbolizes the rising sun. Red and white are traditional Japanese colors that are considered auspicious, with red representing philanthropy and vitality, and white representing holiness and purity.
[Flag and Anthem Act]

The Hinomaru has been used since ancient times, but it was not explicitly established by law but was used as a "custom" for a long time. The Merchant Marine Regulations enacted on January 27, 1870, stipulated the Hinomaru as the identification flag for ships, but this law did not clearly state that the Hinomaru was the national flag. Later, on August 13, 1999, the Hinomaru was officially designated as the national flag of Japan by the Law Concerning the National Flag and National Anthem.

[Aspect ratio of national flag]
The aspect ratio of the UN format is 2:3. The original formula is also 2:3.
